Odd Haavik is Chief Distribution Officer at Prudential Assurance Company Singapore (Prudential Singapore). In this role, he is responsible for driving the performance of the company’s distribution channels, including the largest agency force in Singapore, ensuring alignment of strategies across channels, and developing new partnerships to accelerate growth.
Odd joined Prudential Singapore in 2018 as the Head of the High Net Worth (HNW) Strategy & Transformation, leading the development and rapid roll-out of Opus, Prudential’s HNW proposition.
With a career spanning three decades in the Asian financial services sector, Odd holds a successful track record in insurance and investment banking. Between 2005 and 2017, he was the founding director of Charles Monat Associates, a leader in Ultra High Net Worth insurance advisory, and later its Chief Executive Officer, Asia and Europe. Odd also spent 15 years with leading European and US investment banks in Hong Kong and Singapore, where he specialised in financial risk management structures.
Odd is a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) and is recognized by the Institute of Banking & Finance (IBF) as a Financial Industry Certified Professional (FICP). He is a Norwegian citizen and a Singapore Permanent Resident who has lived and worked in Singapore for more than 20 years.

After graduating from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1997 with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Wave joined his current company and embarked on his life journey as a Financial Planner. Today, as a Senior District Director, he is proud and honoured to lead an outstanding team of young professionals of which 96% of the team are tertiary graduates and above (70% Master’s and Doctorate). He has progress to produce TOT, MDRT and won the Top Financial Services Manager Award in his company in 2018.
